CAS solution comprises a number of
inter-linked data tables, the main ones being for cremations, burials and
memorials. Information is only entered at a single point (to prevent
duplication and reduce errors) and wherever appropriate, a list of defined
options is provided in the form of look-up lists so that data entry is made
faster and more straightforward.
In each of the main data screens, rapid
searches can be made for names using either an exact or close match, which
can also be combined with a defined period of dates. Additionally, the data
can be displayed in table view with selective indexing and filters.
Linked to all data screens is a Complaint
Management system that records such all such events and provides a
controlled follow-up process.
Automatic backup and data recovery functions
are built into the main application thereby minimising the risk of data loss
